Alphonse Breast Cancer Foundation Challenges Facebook users to a $10 Challenge on Giving Tuesday
On Giving Tuesday on December 3rd, 2019, Facebook is matching a total of up to $7 million in donations made on Facebook to eligible US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofits. And Alphonse Breast Cancer Foundation is eligible!
So with our wonderful active Facebook friends, we figure if even a small portion will share the $10 Challenge with their friends, and coupled with the possible Facebook match, it would truly meet the description of “It Takes a Community”.
Donations will be matched dollar for dollar on a first-come, first-served basis and will run until it is out. So we are hoping to encourage people to hop onto Alphonse Breast Cancer Foundation Facebook page anytime after 8AM EST on Tuesday, December 3.
To be considered for the Match, we’re using Facebook’s payment platform to process donations which means Facebook will not charge any fee—100% of the donations made at our Facebook Page will go directly to Alphonse Breast Cancer Foundation.
Donations up to $100k per nonprofit and $20k per donor are eligible to be matched.
